About us

About Rise Grow Own

Our mission fits in one line: As I rise, I grow, and I own. We help students from middle school to college learn how money, companies, and markets work by doing it, with practice money and never real money.

What RGO Class is

RGO Class is our classroom market game. Students join with a class code and a first name, trade real companies with practice money, read real news from the past, and protect their team with stops. Teachers run it in a browser in one class period, or all year as a season challenge.

Our status

Rise Grow Own is a nonprofit in formation. Our 501(c)(3) application is in progress.

Our story

Learning money by doing it

Rise Grow Own started from one idea: students understand money best when they practice with it, safely, before real money is on the line.

Many classroom stock games are made for older students. RGO Class is written for middle school through college, in plain words, with every lesson tied to Florida standards.

In October 2026 we chose our name and our motto with our partners: As I rise, I grow, and I own. The three words became the levels students climb in the game. That same month, our first pilot class started playing.

Red Rose Technologies builds the game, down to its own charts, and our program partner Money Movez helps bring it to students.

    Learn how money, companies, and markets work, one plain idea at a time.

    Practice with a team: read the news, make a plan, protect your money with stops.

    Own

    Own your choices: explain them, compete fairly, and help the students coming up behind you.

In RGO Class, students climb the same ladder as they play: good habits earn XP toward the next level.

    Quizzes before and after show what each student learned.
